I just signed up for Song & Sea! When will I receive in my first box?

Welcome to the Song & Sea family! In each box, you will receive 6-8 of our favorite self-care and wellness products from different brands that are focused on ethical and sustainable production from around the world.

Each quarter, a curated box of high-quality wellness products that are artisan-crafted, all-natural, eco-friendly, and sustainable will arrive at your doorstep! These products were carefully chosen to help cultivate and enhance the overall staycation experience and promote self-care with a vacation-y vibe.

After we announce all of the items in that quarter’s Song & Sea Box, you will be able to see exactly what is in the box by clicking "Look Inside" in the Current Box section of our homepage.

Our aim with each box is to curate a selection of products that are meaningful, inspiring, and uplifting — which encourage you to explore a rejuvenating staycation. Passport not required! No need to jump on a flight, train or car. We want each box to be an experience and be able to travel through our box.

When can I expect my first shipment?

Sign up before the 1st of each month to receive it within that window. You will receive an email notification when your box has shipped, and it will include a tracking link. We ship out within the first two weeks of September, December, March, and June. Please note, the next box will go out December 11th 2018.

If we are unable to charge the credit card on your account, this is likely because it has expired—in this case, we will wait to send your Song & Sea box until we can get in touch with you or until we see that the billing info has been updated.

What is your cancellation policy?

Subscribers can cancel their Song & Sea subscription(s) at any time. There is no cancellation fee. Quarterly subscribers are billed at the time of purchase, and then on the 1st day of each quarterly shipping month (September, December, March, June) — so the subscription can be canceled or paused anytime before that date to avoid receiving the current box.

Annual subscribers cancel their subscriptions anytime before their 12-month cycle renews. Annual subscription cancellation requests are made effective at end of the annual term. Since annual subscriptions afford a 20% discount for a year of boxes, they are nonrefundable. 

Does Song & Sea accept returns?

Purchases are nonrefundable. All sales are final. Any returns made to us will not be eligible for a refund. If you have received a damaged product in your box, or if your box is missing a product, please email our member support team within two (2) weeks of delivery, and we will assist you with getting the item replaced. 

Do you ship Internationally? Does international shipping cost extra?

We offer international shipping to Canada and all US territories (including Puerto Rico and Guam). Shipping rates my vary. For all shipments outside of the Continental US (Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, & Territories) there is an additional cost of $24.95 USD for each box.

All taxes and tariffs are the responsibility of the subscriber.

Can I purchase multiple Song & Sea in bulk?

Yes! Song & Sea makes the perfect employee or group gift. Simply email valerie@songandsea.com and we'll discuss pricing, timing, and options for your bulk order.

Do you use sustainable, recycled materials?

Yes! Sustainability is something we absolutely care about. The majority of our cardboard is recycled, to the highest degree allowed by the paperboard industry's standards. Our boxes are constructed from SBS paperboard - contain less due to their manufacturing.

All of our corrugated and paper-based materials are from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certified suppliers in North America, and 100% printed in the USA. Whenever possible, we source material from local mills with the highest available recycled content.

All of our packaging products are recyclable.

Additionally, we hold our vendors and suppliers to this level as well, and try to use the least minimal plastic as possible.
